City hall in Beilen

This woven wall was used in the reception area of the town hall in Beilen. The wall not only looks beautiful but also serves as acoustic damping. Braiding panels is a new and original application method. A number of tests were first carried out to see how the material reacts to bending and braiding. The material turned out to be suitable and the result is a beautiful wall. The material applied here is custom-cut 9 mm PETpanel in Grey AP/9-16 colour.

In addition to the reception area, AKOpanel also fitted three quiet rooms with PETpanel. A 9 mm wall in various colours provides pleasant acoustics during meetings in these rooms.
